Sam Beane’s journey beneath the surface began at just nine years old, guided by parents who were passionate scuba divers and eager to instill a love for the ocean early on. Growing up, his time was split between skiing, climbing, diving, and an array of adrenaline-fueled sports—each shaping his adventurous spirit.

At 18, he took a hands-on approach to his passion, trading work for his Divemaster certification, followed soon after by his instructor qualification. But it was at 19 that his path truly transformed. Moving from Hawaii to the Thai island of Koh Tao, Sam immersed himself in advanced training with the SEA Explorers Club, mastering deep wreck and cave dives on Closed Circuit Rebreathers. It was during one of these dives, when he discovered the bell on a 1930s Japanese schooner in the Gulf of Thailand, that Sam realized his choice of career would continue to deliver adventure and excitement.

Years later, his pursuit of discovery hasn’t slowed. From exploring forgotten wrecks in Brunei to navigating the depths of underwater caves, Sam continues to push the boundaries of adventure while sharing his expertise as a dedicated dive instructor.
